Trash taste concept website
The Trash Taste Podcast is a popular podcast hosted by Gigguk (Garnt Maneetapho), The Anime Man (Joey Bizinger), and CDawgVA (Connor Colquhoun). The hosts are prominent figures in the anime and YouTube community. The podcast covers a wide range of topics, including anime, Japanese culture, life in Japan, and their personal experiences. The hosts often share anecdotes, discuss current events, and bring in guests from various backgrounds.
As a fan of the podcast I wanted to try my hand at creating a website for the podcast. The website would be for new and old fans to find videos, merchandise, guest information and any news regarding the podcast such as tour information or convention information.
Research Inspiration:
I started the project by conducting thorough research on podcasts that align with the casual and easily accessible style of the Trash Taste Podcast. I observed that the majority of these podcasts typically feature a hero image, a video catalog, and an informative ‘About’ page. Additionally, podcasts with merchandise offerings often include a dedicated page for customers to make purchases. This analysis of existing podcast layouts serves as a foundation for developing a user-friendly and engaging platform for my concept, ensuring alignment with industry standards and user expectations.
